Our first Christmas with Cole was wonderful. All three sets of grandparents live in the area so we got to celebrate Christmas over three days, one day with each, and needless to say Cole was spoiled to death and he doesn't even know it! One our favorite gifts was a rocking horse for Cole from Nana and Papa Walker. Cole also got a new bookshelf for his room ( Mommy was more excited about that than Cole) and TONS of books to fill it. Here is a collection of photos from our Christmas celebrations and the days surrounding the holidays.
Our festivities began on Christmas Eve with a small little party at our house. This is a picture of Papa Walker feeding little Cole a bottle.
On Christmas day we went over to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa Mills, and Auntie Amy (Katie's mom, dad, and sister). We spent the morning and early afternoon opening gifts and the rest of the day we relaxed and ate! Here is a picture of Cole and Mommy taking a break during present opening time.

The next day (December 26th) we went over to Grandpa and Nana Armstrong's house to celebrate with the rest of Bryan's family. Bryan's Aunt Terry always drives up from San Mateo to spend Christmas with us, here is a picture of her with Cole.

Later in the day after opening ALL of the presents little Cole was pooped so it was nap time for him. The cradle that he is sleeping in below was actually the same cradle that his daddy slept in as a baby.
That same night (December 26th) our good friends Brandon and Tina Mears arrived in town to spend a few days with us. We got to meet their 5 month old Jacob for the first time. What a difference a few months makes in babies; Jacob looked like a toddler next to Cole and they are only about 3 1/2 months apart. Here is a picture of Tina holding Cole remembering the days when Jacob used to be that tiny...it goes by so quick!
Here is a picture of Jacob and Cole together, we can't wait to share these photos with them when they are big boys!
All in all our Christmas celebrations were wonderful and Mommy's Christmas wish for a silent night has come true. Cole started having 5 to 6 hours stretches of sleep at night when he was about 6 1/2 weeks old and now (he is 10 weeks) he is sleeping through the night, we are so lucky and so thankful.

Just a few more pictures to share, Cole is now taking his naps in his big boy crib (instead of his little cradle) and he seems quite content, he just loves his room!
